I have just gotten back from Syria. I will want to go back there again soonest. Never felt I am in danger or ppl there are willing to scam you. They are so friendly and genuine. A country full of history and the massive civilization history is amazing. Never listen to the western media telling you it is a dangerous country. It is not.

The interactions with the locals who have faced hell on earth as well as the young boys who thought being in the presence of a young American was almost a holy experience speaks volumes of their culture and plights. God bless them and God bless you for such an authentic account of the people and life in that region. Not to mention the absolutely breathtaking ancient architecture. Very well done.

She and her family have gotten their German citizenship last year and I have she is one of the most resilient people I have ever met after experiencing such a horror. It was so nice and sad on the same time to see pictures of the country in your video. Thank you for getting a glimpse of the ancient history, actual present and beginning of restoration of places and also the devastating impact of the war.

Just wow seeing the destruction and empty destroyed cities! Then to see one shop open in places like Michael’s and the bakery is just crazy. It’s sad to see some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen destroyed like Busra and Maaloula. Sad to see so many ancient Christian relics destroyed. So beautiful seeing the homes built into the mountains. I would love to visit there but would be too scared too. Syria looks so beautiful and while I was in Afghanistan I was also surprised by the beauty and green areas and not all desert. Great video!
